Located on the Upper West Side, near the community of Morningside and Harlem the Riverside Church in Gothic style is the highest in the United States. The design is by Allen, Pelton, Collens. The building was approved in 1922, was finished in 1930. E ' clearly inspired by the cathedral of Chartres in France.
